With a prolific catalog that stretches back across the past decade, Boston Bun is a household name that has become synonymous with feel-good grooves of unequaled proportions. The French-born, London-based producer has built a reputation for teetering between infectious disco and exuberant house music like no one else in the business. On his latest creation his, he places his finger on that signature pleasure point with extreme precision.

As advertised, “Don’t Stop” propels itself along a pulsating rhythm that refuses to quit. A running bassline carries the weight of the track on its back, holding its shape relentlessly while it rolls through clattering percussion, squiggling laser flourishes, and whooshing one-shots. During the breakdown, a flurry of conga drums proceeds to push the energy through the ceiling, revealing the full driving force of this dancefloor motivator.

“I’ve been talking with the people at Insomniac for years now,” says Boston Bun. “We were just waiting for the right time and the right track. ‘Don’t Stop’ was just the perfect fit. I’ve road-tested it for almost six months; Dombresky, Dance System and even Busy P road-tested it, too! They sent me feedback every weekend, turning the track into what it is today.”

Doing exactly what it says on the tin, “Don’t Stop” has been successful at adding an extra spring in reveler’s step when it blasts from the speakers, which it accomplished in full when he teased the track during his debut set at EDC Las Vegas this past May, igniting the Insomniac Records hosted stereoBLOOM stage on Friday night.

Known for skirting around the standard conventions of house music, Boston Bun is a disco lover at heart. He originally broke out at the turn of the decade, storming out with a cavalcade of EPs that saw him carrying the torch for the French touch movement. Over time, that classic groove-chasing spirit has never fallen from grace, even as he started to frequent the top of the charts and collect constant plaudits from tastemakers such as Pete Tong, Annie Macand MistaJam. He originally sprouted up on the Insomniac Records catalog back in 2020 by way of a remix of Dombresky‘sTrust The Process,” a glittery, funk-flavored take that was quickly followed up on with their “Stronger“collab less than a month later.

With his latest creation, Boston Bun proves once again just how much of an irrepressible force he’s become within the house music realm. And much like the ballistic trajectory of his prolific career his, there’s nothing getting in the way of “Don’t Stop” from becoming the go-to record of the summer.

Boston Bun’s new single “Don’t Stop” is available on all platforms via Insomniac Records.
