Apps have become commonplace in the real estate market and more companies and agents are realizing the need for an app to keep up with the demands of the market.
Triangle, a self-guided property management company offering services in the rental market with experience in home leasing, sales, and property management, recently invested in custom property technology to streamline its business within the Austin real estate market.
They tapped Solwey Consulting, a software design and development solutions provider that delivers world-class e-commerce systems, property technology and financial technology applications, logistics management systems, innovative social networks, event management platforms, and new CRMs. With limited coding from a previous developer, Triangle tasked Solwey with the effort to build them an app.
In this Interview with Tech Bullion, Dr. Andrew Drach, throws more light into Solwey and the project with Triangle from his office as the Chief Executive Officer of Solwey Consulting.

What is Solwey and what unique services do you provide?

We have designed our company and services in a boutique manner so that we can be a trusted advisor collaborating with our clients as if we were part of their team; obviously, their success would most definitely be ours as well. In addition to automated and targeted manual testing, our promise of quality is reflected in my personal signature and responsibility for every line of code that we submit.
Solwey provides full-stack app development services on Android and iOS. How do you work with high-quality complex mobile apps, any case studies to share with us?
Solwey Consulting has developed an Android and iOS app for a property tech company. The app uses identity verification and smart lock technologies for user self-tour services, and it’s integrated with Google Maps for location services and a database for data-driven analytics. Various criteria including property information and location are provided for search and filtering of available residential properties for sale or rent. The app also allows for interaction of end users (buyers/sellers and tenants/landlords) with their real estate agents and repair/maintenance contractors.
What is the global market size and level of demand for real estate mobile apps?
Within the real estate industry mobile apps are being used in residential and commercial property hunting for sale or rental; in-rental property management; in support of real estate agents with search, collaboration, coordination, and legal document management, and in the ever growing space of individual or crowd investments. In the first half of 2021, there were 23 million installs of real estate mobile apps (13.4M iOS, 9.7M Android) reported by Sensor Tower. According to the 2021 National Association of REALTORS®, 76 percent of homebuyers used a mobile or tablet search device in their home search, and 47 percent of the realtors reported use of local MLS apps and technology. For buyers/sellers, the main demand is for property search and viewing services, whereas for tenants/landlords, property management and maintenance apps are more in demand. While currently, the e-signature and online document management systems are the predominant apps used by realtors, there is a growing demand for augmented reality (AR) technology to help agents gain a competitive edge.
